Buying a new B8.5 S4 but undecided on manual or S-tronic tranny . I am about to purchase a 2013-2014 S4. I am coming from a B5 S4 & B6 A4, which were both manual transmission. However, this afternoon at my visit to the dealership, I test-drove a S4 with the S-tronic tranny since they didn't have a manual in stock. I was quite impressed with the S-tronic and the test drive definitely is making me reconsider whether this is the better way to go.
